Hours of Operation: Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 6pm

The KidZone at the Hangtown Music Festival is a safe and magical place where kids and parents alike can participate in fun and creative activities that enhances their festival experience and connects them to other families at the festival. The KidZone is conveniently located near the main music meadow.

***Children must be accompanied by an adult.***

Come play with age appropriate crafts, games, music lessons and opportunities for children to creatively express themselves through various workshops!

WORKSHOPS:

Natural Crafting workshops by Maya:

Magic Wands: Create magic at Hangtown with your very own wand! These wands are made with recycled materials and with your crafty intentions and decorating, your wand will be a force of good to use at the festival!

Fairy Houses: Decorate a fairy house to hang up at your camp, inside your tent or on a tree! We will have mini wooden houses and lots of natural items gathered, just waiting for you to get creative. Those fairies can’t wait to move into your fairy house!!

Nature Mandalas: Find a flow state making mandalas with natural materials! Your mandala will be unique to you- there is no pattern to follow or rules on how to make your mandala. We will have beautiful flowers and other items gathered from nature to use, you can also bring some of your own treasures you have collected from the earth at Hangtown!

Kid’s Music Lessons lead daily by Dave Packer

• Join for music lessons on the Guitar, Ukulele, Fiddle and more!

Planetary Deputy Roundup

• Explore your role as steward of the earth and create your own badge!

Breakdancing to Bluegrass and Beyond

•  toprock and floorwork fundamentals with some twang

Gigglebringers Silly-Along

• Join in for a circle of clowny games and songs and goofery for kids of all ages!
